Hohrodberg is a charming summer holiday spot on the slopes of the Munster Valley, a true paradise for hikers. Close to the memorial at the site of the WWI battlefield of Le Linge, the rugged peaks of the Vosges in the Ballon des Vosges park and the Alsace Wine Route, Hohrodberg and the surrounding countryside offers a multitude of activities across the seasons. In summer, enjoy walking, horse riding, motorbiking, mountain biking (with specially marked trails), golf (two 18-hole courses 25 and 35 minutes away) and the Munster aquatics centre.

In winter, try the ski areas in the Munster Valley, whether for Alpine skiing (Schnepfenried, Tanet and Gaschney) or cross-country skiing (Schnepfenried and Trois Fours). Plus, don’t forget the sledging, snow-shoeing and dog-sledding on offer, suitable for young and old alike.
